What We Do

An important area of ARC’s work is human rights advocacy related to documented violations in Ukraine. We engage with government bodies, religious organizations, human rights institutions, policymakers, journalists, and other professional audiences. Through research, publications, formal communications, public education, and institutional engagement, we draw attention to systemic problems and contribute to the search for lawful and practical ways to address them.

While our current research includes a significant focus on Ukraine and the post-Soviet region, ARC works with cases and issues that may affect individuals seeking protection in the United States and other countries around the world.

ARC works to ensure that violations of freedom of conscience, religious liberty, and other fundamental human rights are not ignored, misrepresented, or forgotten.

We collect, verify, and organize testimonies, court records, official correspondence, legal documents, photographs, and other relevant evidence. We analyze legislation, government practices, judicial decisions, and recurring patterns that may lead to persecution, coercion, discrimination, punishment, or other serious violations of the rights of individuals and religious communities.

ARC’s work is not limited to documenting individual cases. We prepare country conditions research, analytical reports, case summaries, and expert materials that may be used by legal professionals, nonprofit and human rights organizations, researchers, government institutions, as well as in asylum, humanitarian protection, immigration, and other legal proceedings.

Publishing reports, articles, case studies, and educational resources to inform professionals, communities, and the public about human rights concerns.

4. Human Rights Advocacy and Cooperation

Engaging institutions and partners to raise awareness, promote lawful responses, and build solutions through cooperation and dialogue.
